The objectives of this thematic program are to protect children affected by natural disaster and conflict from separation and sexual violence, increase children participate in the design and implementation of SCS child protection interventions during emergencies, to create equal access to orphan and vulnerable children in emergency responses to enable SCS partners in Ethiopia respond to sexual violence and separation during an emergency.
To attain its objectives SCS engages in different activities in collaboration with its partner. Some of the activities are:
· Capacity building for local and community structures
· Establish networks in emergency situation
· Support community based child protection group and government structure to ensure protection the children from violence and separation
