Save the Children Sweden Ethiopia Program is part of the Eastern and Central Africa (ECAf) regional program. It has been operational in Ethiopia since 1965, making it one of the long operational international NGOs in the country. During the last 43 years, SCS in Ethiopia has addressed identified needs of the different sectors of the population, with particular focus on disadvantaged children. In the past decade, SCS was more active in the implementation of focused child rights programmes in collaboration with national civil society partners.
